Emergency First Responder Training

Emergency First Responder - Adults

Aimed at nominated first aiders at work and at leisure
This course covers primary patient care including airway management and cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques; this section of the course aims to provide the knowledge necessary to enable members of the public to respond to life threatening emergencies whilst waiting for professional help to arrive.
Secondary care aims to manage patients with non-life threatening emergencies, this includes, amongst other things, wound management.
Automated External Defibrillators (AED's) are becoming more available in public areas for those persons trained to use them. Due to this at Above The Surface all our Emergency First Responder candidates are trained in the safe practice and are able to administer this valuable and potentially life saving treatment.
