Rescue Diver - this programme teaches the scuba diver how to spot and deal with problems not only with themselves and their buddy, but other divers. Challenging but very rewarding, is how most rescue divers talk about this course, many say this is the best course they have ever taken.

The Rescue Diver manual will take you through the academics prior to the 1 day in the class, then its into the swimming pool for the practical side of things. Finally, out in to open water to bring the academics and practical skills together.

At Beneath the Waves we offer the Emergency First Response (EFR) course as standard. This is a further day in the classroom, and covers CPR (primary care), First Aid (secondary care), and Automatic External Defibrillators (AED).

Rescue Diver EXTRA - take the rescue course to the ultimate! We have packaged together this course to include two specialities that sit perfectly within the Rescue Diver course. In total you will spend an extra day in the classroom going through the Infant and Child protocols for CPR and First aid and taking the Emergency Oxygen Administrator speciality. On top of this you will also have a further four dives to complete the Search and Recovery Speciality - making you an all round Rescue Diver!
