Welcome to Above the Surface... Beneath the Waves
Above the Surface is a RYA accredited Training Centre, offering a range of RYA courses and training materials, as well as many other water related activities!
We have a flexible course schedule to try and meet everyones need, from intensive week long courses, intensive weekend courses and winter night classes. If you don't find one to suit your timescale - get in touch and we can try and fit a course to you!
All are run from our training centre in Todmorden town centre, our classroom is bright and spacious, with tables big enough for you to spread charts out easily. State of the art touch screens enhance the learning without being all about gimmicks.
We are always looking at ways to make our courses more accessible, that is why we were one of the first RYA Training Centres to offer RYA Interactive and courses through our partners at Navathome.com. All our Navigation courses are now available online with easy to understand interactive exercises and tutorials.
Courses run through the day include a light lunch (why not take a look at the menu), and a chance to get out of the class for a bit to relax in the hotel upstairs, patio, or local shops.
We are also able to offer residential packages, either Bed & Breakfast or Dinner, Bed & Breakfast.
